# Referral programme

Share your Kaabist link. When an organisation you refer makes its first payment, it gets 10% extra credits and you get 20% of the credits that payment bought.

## How it works

1. **Copy your link.** Every organisation has a referral link under Settings → Referrals in the panel. Share it wherever you like.
2. **They sign up through it.** The link is remembered for 30 days after the first click, so they can look around first. The first link they clicked counts.
3. **Their first payment.** When their organisation makes its first payment, they get 10% extra credits and you get 20% of the credits that payment bought.

## An example

A new organisation's first payment is the Developer plan at $49 a month, which buys 10,000 credits. It gets 1,000 extra credits; you get 2,000 credits.

## Terms

- Only the first payment of the organisation you referred earns a reward; later payments do not.
- If that payment is refunded, the reward is reversed: credits not yet spent are removed.
- Reward credits are valid for 12 months, then expire.
- A sign-up counts once, for the first link used. Your own link does not count for your own organisation.
- Rewards are credits on your Kaabist balance; they are not paid out as money.
- We may hold a reward for review when a referral looks unusual, and change the rates for new referrals; a reward already given keeps its rate.
