# Codex: Codex explores the site. A program stays behind.

Point Codex at Kaabist's MCP server and it can drive a real browser on Kaabist's pool, read pages through ranked locators, and save what works as a draft program.

## Setup

```sh
# ~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.kaab]
url = "https://mcp.kaab.ist/mcp"
```

## Sign in once

When Codex first connects, your browser opens Kaabist's consent page. Choose the organisation, the mode and the scopes; Codex works within them and nothing more.

## Draft, lint, dry run

Codex turns its browser session into a draft program, lints it and runs it as a dry run that stops before the first side effect. Publishing is a scope you grant, or a click you make yourself.
