# Session probe

A quick check, before a job starts, that a saved login is still valid.

The probe loads a landmark page with the session. If the site sends it to the login page, the session is marked expired and the program signs in again, the job pauses for you, or it fails, as the program's policy says. The probe uses plain HTTP unless the page needs a browser.
