Notes from Kaabist on web automation that keeps working.

- [Kaabits, Kaabist, kaab.ist: where the name comes from](/blog/the-name): Kaabist comes from kaabits, Estonian for scraper. We bent it so the domain could be kaab.ist: .ist for Istanbul, where it is made, and -ist for someone who practises a craft. The logo is a spider's two eyes.
- [Why a form should never submit twice](/blog/never-submit-twice): Retrying is the right answer to most failures in web automation, and the wrong one for a submit. Kaabist fences every step that changes something: it records that it is about to act, acts, and records that it did. A job that finds an open fence never acts again; it stops and asks you.
